Softball Information 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

   Tryouts for Risley Middle Softball will begin 8/17/20(Monday) through 8/18/20 (Tuesday).  In order to try out, Players must have completed a Physical form (Glynn County Schools) before they can step on the field for Risley Middle. No exceptions!  Any player that misses a tryout practice for any reason will not make the team with the exception of any emergency situation or any pre-obligated event that could not be avoided (inform Coach). Practice will start at 4:00pm and end at 6:00pm. Please pick up your Daughter at the appropriate time. The players will be notified in advance of any changes in practice time or day (bad weather). I will also allow players to call home and make arrangements for pick up. Equipment needed for tryout. (Glove, Cleats, and athletic wear) You may also bring your own bat. Tryouts will last 2 days ending on Tuesday August 18th. After 2 days, a final team will be posted by that evening on my school website. Players will be selected based on skill level, mechanics, and knowledge of the game, strength, speed, behavior/attitude, and needed positions.

There has been a change in softball tryout dates. Softball tryouts will now be on Monday and Tuesday Aug. 24 and 25. You will still need to use the sheet on the school website to sign up for sports. We are doing it online now so we don't have to have crowds of people at the tables during sign ups and we will not be sharing pens and paper.
