Every October, individuals from across the nation—and around the world—unite with the powerful message that bullying should never be a part of childhood.
The Unity campaign is a catalyst for:
- Offering information and education about how everyone can prevent bullying
- Inspiring everyone to unite in kindness, acceptance and inclusion
- Promoting dialogue between educators, parents and students on their roles in addressing and preventing bullying
- Helping to create a bully-free community
For the past two years, Glynn County Schools has joined in the campaign by providing educational opportunities to our students that have inspired and promoted kindness, acceptance and inclusion. Let’s continue in our commitment to creating a culture of inclusivity for all students.
Additionally, we would like to encourage our students and staff to celebrate Unity Day on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, by wearing ORANGE. WEAR AND SHARE ORANGE to color our community, visibly showing that we believe that no child should ever experience bullying.
Students and staff can also participate by signing the “Together Against Bullying” pledge.
Risley Middle is looking forward to celebrating National Bullying Prevention Month with all of our students, staff, and parents!
