PBIS
PBIS Description
PBIS is a school-wide system that provides clear expectations for behaviors and consistent consequences for inappropriate behaviors across all classrooms and across all school settings. Risley Middle School has adopted the “Wildcat R.O.A.R.” to outline our behavioral expectations. R.O.A.R. states that as Risley Wildcats, we show respect, ownership, achievement, and responsibility.
Students can be recognized for doing the right thing by any adult in the building or bus driver by getting signatures on the student’s ROAR Card (Shown below). Throughout the year, students will have opportunities to redeem their filled up ROAR Cards for different prizes established by teachers and administration. There are also reward days at the end of each Nine Weeks for students who have displayed positive behaviors by not receiving office discipline referrals.
