Dear Risley, Middle School Family,

Welcome to Risley Middle School, where Excellence is Our Standard. It is an honor to serve as the principal of such a dedicated and vibrant school community. Each day, we strive to provide meaningful learning experiences that inspire students to reach their highest potential academically, socially, and personally.

At Risley Middle School, our mission guides everything we do. We are committed to maintaining high expectations for all students while fostering a supportive environment where learning, respect, and growth flourish.

Our Beliefs

1. Curriculum: Teachers plan instructional content and learning goals based on the Georgia Standards of Excellence to ensure a rigorous and relevant education for every student.
2. Instruction: Students are engaged in intellectually challenging tasks that promote higher-order and critical thinking skills.
3. Assessment: Our staff uses multiple sources of data from both formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and evaluate program effectiveness.
4. Environment: We cultivate a learning environment that is caring, inviting, and safe— one where every student feels valued and supported.
