Growing Knowledge at RMS!

At the end of last school year, our Director of School Nutrition, Ms. Shelley Daniel, received a grant that provided our school with an exciting new hydroponic growing station!

This morning, our Cafeteria Manager, Ms. Ae, put the station to work with students in our 8th Grade FLEX Science Acceleration class. Students got hands-on experience learning how to test pH levels and planted lettuce seeds to officially kick off the growing process. 

A huge thank you to Ms. Daniel and Ms. Ae for providing our Wildcats with this unique opportunity to bring science to life through hands-on learning. We can’t wait to watch our students’ knowledge—and their lettuce—grow!
