Risley Middle School would like to give a huge shoutout to Mrs. Ae, Mr. Attical (Rev), and Ms. Chance for helping our Garden Enrichment Program continue to grow and thrive! We also appreciate Mr. Dewayne and his classes for the wonderful work they did with our collard greens last year.

Our students are getting the opportunity to experience the full garden-to-table process—planting, growing, harvesting, cooking, and finally enjoying the foods they helped grow!

This year, our green thumbs have been busy growing collard greens, kale, sweet potatoes, green onions, and pineapple! Most importantly, our students are learning valuable skills while having fun and taking pride in what they can grow with their own hands.
