Glynn County Schools Recognized by GaDOE for PBIS and School Climate Efforts

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) recently recognized several schools in our district for strengthening school climate and supporting student success through Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) as part of the Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Supports (GaMTSS) during the 2024–2025 school year.

Schools were recognized at three levels: Emerging, Operational, and Distinguished, based on their implementation and commitment to PBIS practices.

These achievements reflect the strong collaboration among teachers, administrators, staff, and the community in implementing PBIS strategies that promote positive behavior, improve school climate, and support student success.

Each recognized school received a certificate from State School Superintendent Richard Woods honoring their dedication to creating safe, supportive, and thriving learning environments for students and staff.
